Vesak Day is the day of the year when Buddhist commemorate and celebrate the birth, Awakening and final passing of the Buddha over twenty-six centuries ago. This year BAMBI wanted to engage more people in the South-West by holding an event in Bunbury. So this year volunteers are working to hold an event at the South-West Italian Club on White Street in East Bunbury from 9am to around 1pm. Ajahn Sunyo and Venerable Mettaji will be leading the Vesak activities on the day.

You can come along for part or all of the events planned which will include a talk from 9am and a traditional food offering and shared meal from 11am. All are welcome and we expect both new and traditional Buddhist to come along.
There will be another short bulletin coming via email in the days before the 19th May, so stay tuned for more details.
