Dear Members
On Sunday 16th April the Buddhist Society hosted a Thai Songkran Day at Dhammalokka Temple from 8am-3pm.
Our Thai community and its supporters co-ordinated a great family day with an estimated 2,000 visitors to the temple. As well as the Buddhist Ceremonies carried out by our Sangha there was plenty of home cooked Thai food on offer, a cultural dance and kick boxing display which wrapped up an enjoyable day for all. With no parking or neighborhood issues on the day the event was considered a great success and well done to all those involved in organising the day.
