After more than 8 months from applying to the Water Corporation we have finally connected 48 Stocker Rd to the local water main. This turned out to be a big job as we had to tap into the local distribution main, a 760mm steel pipe running under our land.
Now that the meter is installed we can run a pipe up to the stables and connect the bathrooms. This, along with an underground power cable, will let us get to work once approval is given for the stables “upcycling” as we turn the building into a monastic residence.
