The Dhammasara Community would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all our sponsors, donors, supporters, volunteers and everyone who has contributed in many ways to the successful Kathina Ceremony on Sunday 12 Nov 2023. It was a joyful occasion to see so many of our supporters and newcomers come to witness this auspicious requisite-offering ceremony.
Our Kathina main sponsor team had flown in from Singapore to participate in a week long of preparation leading up to the Kathina day.
12 Bhikkhunis, 2 Samaneris and 4 Anagarikas performed their Vassa at Dhammasara this year.

The Kathina cloth accepted by the Bhikkhuni Sangha was immediately cut and sewn into a Kathina Robe by the nuns.
During the Kathina Spreading ceremony at 6pm that evening, this newly sewn Kathina Robe was presented to the deserving Bhikkhuni Jenti, rejoiced by the whole Bhikkhuni Sangha.
Well done to the Kathina Sponsors and their team of wonderful friends that have contributed in taking care of Dhammasara’s needs during Vassa.
