Dhammayanaram Monastery – 56 Scott Rd, Kelmscott
Every Monday evening Wat Dhammayanaram runs a 1-hour meditation lesson. Here you can learn ways to calm, lighten and re-energise the mind. Our two resident teachers, Ajahn Santutthi and Ajahn Jhanarato, are senior disciples of renowned meditation teacher Ajahn Brahm.
Both teach a relaxed and light-hearted way of practising the Buddha’s way to peace, kindness and a gentle heart.
Each session begins with a short introduction followed by a 30-minute guided meditation. Afterwards you can ask the monk questions and enjoy a general discussion of Buddhism and monastic life.
If you would like to have a cuppa and a chat with the other attendees you are welcome to arrive half an hour early.
