As we move into late spring, now is a great time to weed around our native gardens. It’s not too hot and the ground is still soft. Right now the Kusala Gardening Club are focussing on removing grass in the fenced off re-vegetated sections.

We’d like to continue the work of Simon and his friend in the “ephemeral wetland” (i.e. the old dam):

There are other plots that could use some love:

Removing grass is very easy at this time of year. The weather is mild, the ground is not too hard and usually the grass can simply be pulled out of the ground in clumps. If you’d like to join in, let us know when you’d like to come. Mornings after 8am are usually fine, as are the afternoons. Bring a friend!
