The Dhammasara Community would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all our sponsors, donors, supporters, volunteers and everyone who has contributed in many ways to the successful Kathina Ceremony on Sunday 31 Oct 2021. It was a joyful occasion to see so many of our supporters and newcomers come to witness this auspicious requisite-offering ceremony.

Kathina Robe offering to the Bhikkhuni Sangha

Rejoicing in the offered food (Dana)

The Kathina cloth accepted by the Bhikkhuni Sangha was immediately cut and sewn into a robe by the nuns.

9 Bhikkhunis completed their Vassa at Dhammasara this year.

During the Kathina Spreading ceremony that evening, this new robe was presented to the deserving Bhikkhuni – Ayya Pasādā Therī.

Abbot Ajahn Hāsapaññā addressing the happy Kathina Volunteers:

Well done to the Kathina Sponsors and their team of wonderful friends that put so much effort in taking of the monastery’s needs during Vassa and organised this wonderful event.

Sādhu! Sādhu! Sādhu!
