The Dhammasara Community would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all our sponsors, donors, supporters, volunteers and everyone who has contributed in many ways to the successful Kathina Ceremony on Sunday 11 Oct 2020. It was a joyful occasion to see so many of our supporters and newcomers come to witness this auspicious requisite-offering ceremony.
This year’s Kathina ceremony is different from previous years due to COVID Phase 4 restrictions. We are very grateful that everyone has cooperated to practice social distancing and observe our indoor capacity limit. It is very inspiring to see everyone doing their best to stay safe.
The Kathina cloth accepted by the Bhikkhuni Sangha was immediately cut and sewn into a robe by the nuns. This new robe was presented to the nominated Bhikkhuni – Venerable Munissara, during the Kathina Spreading ceremony that evening.
Cashless Donation Terminals are now available at Dhammasara.
