Supreme Master Yuan Fan was born in Singapore and ordained in 1979. He trained under various renowned masters from different lineages including Korean Chan, Chinese Han Buddhism, Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism, Thai Forest Tradition and Myanmar Buddhism traditions. He was recognised by the Nyingma Dharma Lineage as a reincarnated Vajra Supreme Master. He is also the founder of Buddha Mandala Monastery in Chittering, Western Australia. and various Buddhist institutes in Singapore. Currently, he is the root Supreme Master of the Nalanda Society in Singapore
