A Life Member of BSWA, Binh first joined BSWA in 1979. That year, Binh had attended a talk by a visiting Western Buddhist monk called Phra Khantipalo where he felt very much “at home” with the teachings on Buddhadhamma, as it was simple but practical and straight to the heart. He then decided to join the Buddhist Society and has been practising Buddhism in the Theravada tradition ever since. He also served as the President from 1998 to 1999. He retired from work in 2011 and continues to volunteer with the Society. He has been conducting the Introduction to Meditation classes twice yearly since 2012. Binh also maintains a bilingual English – Vietnamese Buddhist webpage, called BuddhaSasana which collates discourses, dhamma essays and other resources by different Dhamma teachers.
