If you have taken the Five Precepts in the last year, can you please write to me at webmaster@bswa.org with your name and postal address please?
If you haven't taken the Five Precepts as yet, you can do so before 18 May. Please go to https://bswa.org/practices/taking-five-precepts-online/ and follow the instructions. Once you have taken the precepts, please write to me with your name and postal address.
Vesak
Vesak is the most important of the Buddhist festivals and is celebrated on the full moon in May. It celebrates the Buddha’s birthday, and, for some Buddhists, also mark Buddha’s enlightenment and death.
There will be a live broadcast of the welcoming ceremony of New Buddhists (Local and Overseas) during our Vesak celebrations.
