Rains Retreat
I have heard the rains retreat is kind-of like Lent for Buddhists. I was just wondering if other people look at the rains retreat in this way and if so what their plans are? For me I have decided to quit tobacco. I feel like it interferes with my ability to be mindful, and it is a big attachment. -
For me ........ rains means winter, which means more waves, which means more surfing!!!

Community membership is by paid subscription, effectively a small donation of $2 annually.

If you are a monk, nun or anagarika you do not have to take out a subscription to participate. Contact us at webmaster@bswa.org with your details including the monastery you reside at, phone number and a contact person.
