Hi Billy,
Seeing this in context of your other posts I'd say this is coming from negativity, so it's not really an insight.Be careful of falling into a negative spiral! Keep doing things that give you a sense of well-being, however small. Things like taking a walk, making yourself a nice meal, reading a book, whatever helps.
With kindness,
Sunyo

I like your comments Bhante. Taking the first noble truth about Dukkha and everything in life to be dissatisfying, as a negative .... so why even bother.... is not helpful, if these statements are taken too directly. It can lead to total dispassion to life and potentially worse. I think that having the understanding that there is nothing within the conditioned realm that provides lasting happiness is very important to understand, but that doesnt mean we dont participate in life. To me, it just means I need to be aware that the pleasure that I am participating in (eating my favourite food, listening to my favourite music, surfing great waves) wont last, but I can enjoy it while its present. However, with awareness I know it will pass and when this happens its time to just let it go ...... ie "no clinging"
