Hello Parents and Young people,

We are holding a fun event for our young people at Bodhinyana Monastery on Saturday the 26th of October.

The kids told us that they would love to get outdoors and into nature more, so we have arranged a day out with one of the monks who has been helping to restore and re-vegetate the beautiful Bodhinyana grounds.

We have planned some gentle weeding, a bush walk, dana together and maybe even a chat with Venerable Bodhidaja. Parents are encouraged to join too as many hands make light work, and it’s great to see everyone working together and having a good time outdoors.

Please BYO tools (one like this is great!)and gloves and a plate to share for lunch.

Remember to bring a hat, water bottle, and sun protection. Also, please wear long sleeved clothing and proper shoes as it is in the bush and there could be ticks. So if you have insect repellent that is a good idea too! (Not to scare you off!)

Please register at: https://bodhinyanahelp.eventbrite.com.au

If you have any other questions, please email youth@bswa.org and don’t forget to share the event with your networks.

We look forward to seeing you there,

BSWA Youth Team
