The BSWA is excited to introduce a new series of ongoing guided meditation classes suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators. Dennis Sheppard, President of the BSWA will be teaching the class in the Dhamma hall. The focus of the class will be on listening to oneself, with an opportunity for both our visitors and online listeners to chat with our Care Group members during and after the class to answer any questions they might have.
Tea and biscuits will be held after the class at 8pm.
The class will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

About Dennis Sheppard
Dennis Sheppard has served multiple terms as President of the Buddhist Society of WA (BSWA) and has over 30 years of experience teaching meditation. He has pioneered efforts to bring Buddhist based practices such as mindfulness to a larger audience, including prisons, rehabilitation centres, schools and counseling.
Dennis has been heavily involved with Samaritan Befrienders where he has served as a Director and worked as a volunteer counselor, attending to people with real and potential suicide risk. He was associated with Samaritan Befrienders for 22 years.
He is an accredited marriage celebrant as well an accredited clinical hypnotist., specialising in past life regression and stillness healing.
Dennis earns his living as a building designer in Perth Western Australia, designing and documenting all kinds residential and commercial buildings., and has a keen interest in astronomy and astrophysics.
