Dear friends,
Dhammasara has now reopened. The monastery, thankfully, was undamaged by the nearby fires, although they came very close to the property. Our thoughts go out to those whose homes were lost in the fire.
The monastery has returned to its normal opening hours between 10am and 1pm.
You are welcome to bring Dana and attend the lunch ceremony at 10.30am. Masks must be worn at all times. You are welcome to stay for lunch, we encourage you to bring your own plate and eat utensils. Please observe good hygiene and physical distancing with the 4 square metre rule. Contact registers are mandatory – please fill the contact tracing form or use SafeWA to scan the QR code when you are here.
As always, please check the fire emergency warnings at https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au/ before travelling to the monastery. More information can be found here: https://bswa.org/our-locations/bushfire-information-visitors/
