With a couple of re-vegetation projects under our belt, the Kusala Hermitage community and the Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group applied for a grant under the Community Rivercare Program. The application was successful and the Minister for Environment has officially made an announcement.

The grant allocation is just over $20,000 and the project will run for 3 years. This includes the removal of Japanese Pepper Trees and replanting along the Canning River. We’ll be looking for volunteers. If you’re interested sign up to our gardens and re-vegetation mailing list monks6111@gmail.com
