Notice of Annual General Meeting for 2024
The Committee of the Buddhist Society of Western Australia (Inc) wishes to announce that the Annual General Meeting for the year ended 31 December 2023 will be held on
Saturday 22nd June 2024
at Dhammaloka Buddhist Centre, Nollamara, Western Australia
Please arrive at 4pm for registration. Proceedings will commence at 5pm.
We encourage all Members to attend, learn about what’s happening within the Society and meet the new Committee Members for 2024. Please note that only Full members & Honorary members are eligible to vote.
AGENDA
There will be two agenda items that will be put to a vote at the AGM. These are: a Special Resolution regarding changes to BSWA (Inc.) Constitution – Lifetime Membership Categories; and a vote to Changes to Membership Fees. Further details of the AGM are found in the full AGM agenda.
Please note that there is one contested position of Hon. Treasurer, which will also be put to a vote at the AGM. Supporting letters for each candidate are linked here: Anthony Paul Hawkins; Morly Uttam.

PROXY VOTING
If you are unable to attend the AGM and wish to nominate another BSWA Full Member/ Honorary Member to Vote on your behalf, you may access the Proxy Form here.
Completed proxy forms should be sent to secretary@bswa.org (Cc: admin@bswa.org) to be received no later than 5pm Friday 21st June 2024.
